Good casual walking shoes?
I'm going to China this summer and we'll be traveling around to many different cities, including Beijing , and I am looking for good walking shoes. I want some casual attractive shoes, not some weird Dr. Scholls shoes that are just odd. I'm 20 and I want some nice shoes. I really like the new Nikes with the bright colors. I also am looking for shoes that are light and won't make my feet sweat. And, most importantly, NOT white because the pollution in Beijing can make the shoes brown without even having stepped in mud. Comfortable and stylish walking shoes?
I walk a lot during the summer, for fun and for exercise. When I go out to jog, I just wear my ugly running shoes, but I really want some cute shoes to wear when I just go out to walk the dog or walks with my friends. Up till now, I usually just wore flip flops but if I wear them too long, I get blisters between my toes from the thong, and I don't like slip on sandals without thongs.I want some cute sport flats, like puma makes, but puma shoes are too skinny for my feet. I have pretty wide feet, usually I never need wide shoes but for a long walk, I probably would just for the comfort. Any ideas of nice looking shoes like this?

Good walking shoes with style and endurance?
I walk a lot . I make 9 km 5.5 miles daily to and from the work. I work in web development so I, on occasion, participate in business meetings. I need shoes that will coup with my daily 9 km's and also look neutral not too sporty or like hike shoes. I love converse, especially star player models. I wear one of them right now. But my leg suffer in them and they quickly get all ripped up and used but they look good and feel good when I'm working or just hanging around the office. So please suggest a shoe model that will satisfy my needs. Thanks

Are "toning" walking shoes stable on uneven ground?
I'm planning on buying a pair of trainers from the US much cheaper there than where I live . I've found a pair I like, but they're " toning" walking shoes and the soles have a slightly different shape than I'm familiar with. I walk on steep, uneven but paved ground daily, and gravel hiking paths several times a week. Will I have any trouble with stability or balance?

I need some grippy walking shoes/boots - any recommendations?
The old Merrells are worn out, leak and have no grip left. I need something waterproof and that has some kind of grip on mud, snow and ice. Hopefully it won't be this icy for too long but I'd like some confidence out there. This is for day walks and living in North Wales for the winter.I take a size 8 which usually means men's boots shoes, will also wear women's ones. Important thing is trying to avoid paying 100 for them Does anyone have any recommendations?
